The Legend Comes to Life

Each year, a new legend from the Bergisches Land calls visitors to embark upon the path of adventure. Across the grounds of the Hellpeak Festival, the ancient tale comes to life, shrouding the market, the pathways and every encounter in the veil of age-old stories.

Between market stalls and campfires, the legend is brought to life through small theatrical performances. Characters from the tale step forward, whispering of secrets, setting challenges or pointing the way towards hidden truths. In this way, the Myth Market itself becomes a stage and every visitor becomes part of the story.

Before the festival, a separate LARP event will take place in the Aggertal Cave. Participants will experience the backstory of the festival scenario and lay the foundations for the events that will later unfold at Hellpeak. Advance registration will be required. Further information about the date, schedule and registration process will be announced at a later stage.

LARP players can join a series of quests or take on individual missions that lead them deeper into the story. Their choices, courage and sense of community shape the course of the adventure.

Pen-and-paper players experience the legend in guided sessions led by experienced game masters. Through specially created adventures, they immerse themselves in the world of the tale and write their own version of the story.
