Fabio Lione’s Dawn of Victory is an international power metal project centered around Italian singer Fabio Lione. For more than two decades, his voice has shaped fantasy power metal like few others, and for many fans he remains inseparably connected with the great stories of Rhapsody. With Dawn of Victory, he brings this world back to the stage together with his old Rhapsody companions Patrice Guers, Dominique Leurquin and Alex Holzwarth, as well as their new fellow travelers Justin Hombach (Eternity’s End, Alkaloid) and Alessio Lucatti (Deathless Legacy, ex-Vision Divine).

Musically, the band stands for classic European power metal with symphonic and orchestral influences. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, they released several albums with their former band Rhapsody that helped shape the style of the genre. The stories surrounding the Emerald Sword Saga have accompanied metal fans for decades and remain among the most well-known narrative worlds in the genre. They lead through enchanted lands and tell of an ancient dragon, legendary heroes and epic journeys. At a festival of sagas and myths, stories like these must not be missing.
